Parents and young people can self-refer by phoning the SPA on 0800 011 3474 or via the online form which can be found on the NELFT website.
Self-referrals made by young people or families are accepted, as well as those made on their behalf by a professional.
Notes: If parents are looking to refer regarding obtaining a diagnostic assessment for ADHD or Autism (or both) it may be advisable for them to complete the form themselves to ensure there is adequate detailed information on family and education history for the team to triage the referral against indicative diagnostic criteria.

KOOTH, provides British Association for counselling and psychotherapy accredited services for 10 - 25 years old in both Kent and Medway, and
QWELL the sister service for those ages over 18.
Kooth and Qwell are both comissioned online counselling services providing a free, confidential, safe and non judgemental place for young people and adults to connect with others and know they are not alone.
They have instant access to self help materials, live moderated discussion forums and tools such as online journals and goal trackers. Young people can also contribute written pieces of work reflecting their own experiences, as well as accessing drop-in or booked sessions with professional counsellors from 12noon to 10pm weekdays and 6-10pm weekends, 365 days a year.
